I have a scenario where we have different hierarchies for requisition approval for expense, capital expense and inventory requisition. I am using position hierarchy (R12 implementation).
Is there any way to change the hierarchy on the fly depending on the case.

Please let us know that in this case when the hierarchy needs to be changed...when the document is getting submitted or when it's in "In Process"? You are using iProc or core requisition form? If it is at the time of submission and you are using core requisition form, it can be achieved by defining the document type attributes accordingly and changing the position hierarchy at the time of document submission using forward to check box.
