It may or may not be. What version of WLS is this? Why not use the Oracle thin driver?
The WLS version is 9.0 and i must connect to DB on a SSL channel.
i use this parameter in a WLS Admin Console:
Driver Class Name: weblogic.jdbc.oracle.OracleDriver
i read in this document (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs90/jdbc_drivers/oracle.html#1066766) how configure the parameter about a new data source with an ssl connection.
What kind of a driver Class can i use? This is a thin driver class:oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver
Yes, that is. Look at the Oracle documentation on how to do SSL from the thin driver to the DBMS.
Everything you're using is very old. I don't even have the documentation any more for that version
of the bea/weblogic driver, to tell you if SSL is supported, but if yo upgrade your thin driver to the
latest appropriate version (depending on your DBMS version?) you have a way forward.
I don't think the JDBC configuration file can understand $WL_HOME variable. Try give the full path of the tnsnames.ora file at the JDBC configuration.
If not, you have to use Oracle thin driver as Joe mentioned.
