    LOV Not Copying From Existing Entry

    DeHuaste
      Hi All,

      I get great answers here so I'm going to keep asking questions :)

      Using 11.1.2.3, I followed Frank's tutorial to create a new row based on one that exists - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/13-create-with-params-169140.pdf

      Everything went smoothly except one of the LOVs will not carry over from the existing record. The new binding and named data both exist and I have several other LOVs that behave as expected. Being that all the LOVs come from the same VO, I'm stumped as to why this one is misbehaving. Happy to provide more info as needed, any ideas are appreciated.

          Can you post the code snippet of the pagedef file? and the page?

            Hi Arun,

            Thanks for the reply. Below are a couple snippets, first one from the page that does work, then the one that doesn't. After that are the same items from the page def.

            Page

            This one works -

            <af:selectOneChoice value="#{bindings.CltId.inputValue}" label="Clt:"
            required="#{bindings.CltId.hints.mandatory}"
            shortDesc="#{bindings.CltId.hints.tooltip}" id="soc2"
            autoSubmit="true">
            <f:selectItems value="#{bindings.CltId.items}" id="si2"/>
            </af:selectOneChoice>

            This one does not -
            <af:selectOneChoice value="#{bindings.SowId.inputValue}"
            label="Statement of Work:"
            required="#{bindings.SowId.hints.mandatory}"
            shortDesc="#{bindings.SowId.hints.tooltip}" id="soc3"
            partialTriggers="soc2">
            <f:selectItems value="#{bindings.SowId.items}" id="si3"/>
            </af:selectOneChoice>

            Page Def

            This one works -

            <attributeValues IterBinding="TWV1Iterator" id="CltId3">
            <AttrNames>
            <Item Value="CltId"/>
            </AttrNames>
            </attributeValues>

            This one does not -

            <attributeValues IterBinding="TWV1Iterator" id="SowId1">
            <AttrNames>
            <Item Value="SowId"/>
            </AttrNames>
            </attributeValues>
