We have our Hyperion applications deployed to IIS. We are working on enabling SSL. We have installed the necessary certificates on the IIS machine. And binded the sites to https and removed http. We again configured the web server to port 443. We have a problem launching EAS. It still looks at port 80.
We get the error "Unable to load resource: https://<Server>:80/easconsole/eas_client.jar. Any property file needs to be updated?
version - 184.108.40.206.
In your java options under network settings it is set to "Use browser settings", if so does your browser go through any proxy, if it does I would test using Direct Connection, not sure if that is the issue it is just something similar happened to me in the past.
It worked when we added the port 10083 to the URL.
Is there a document or reference that talks about enabling SSL if the Hyperion web applications are deployed to IIS? I went through the EPM security administration guide. It talks about installing certificates for weblogic and oracle http server but not for IIS. We did not run the EPM configurator to run the Foundation common settings to check the option "Use SSL for web application server communication" and I am concerned of the approach we have taken as FR studio and web analysis designer does not launch. . Though we have deployed to IIS, do we still have to install certificates for weblogic?
