The Cost % Complete is the percent complete of all labor resource costs, material resource costs and expenses that are assigned to the activity. Cost % Complete cannot be manually changed by the user. How do you have costs assigned? By resources or expenses?
i have used a dummy resource to assign cost to activities, no i want to update actual cost % manually so that the cost gets updated automatically for that particular activity, kind of "actual cost update for activities".
Any way to do this.. that is update actual cost with percentage.
As I mentioned earlier, you cannot change the Cost % Complete value manually. It is computed.
If you're using a single resource just for costs, have you tried changing the Units % Complete? You can export this to Excel (through Resource Assignments) and then change the values and import back to P6.
