Doc for getting a DHCP Client to Request a Specific Host Name doesn't work

following

doesn't seem to work on Solaris 11/11 (x86). After deleting the address with ipadm it seems that the Auto Magic Network config service recreates it per its spec, it just gets a new DHCP address after a few moments. When I run the

ipadm create-addr -T dhcp -h <hostname> net0/_b command I get the following error

ipadm: cannot create address object: Invalid argument provided

I can't find a way to config the hostname using netadm or netcfg.

thanks
Mark
