I have created a WS with @Policy(uri = "policy:Wssp1.2-2007-Https-BasicAuth.xml" , attachToWsdl=false) and have created a AuthHandler that implements SOAPHandler<SOAPMessageContext> and I have overridden the Method to append HTTP header with Basic Auth details.
But when I call it from SoapUI WITHOUT the username and password, it doesnot call the handler and I get no error.
If I do the same WITH Username and password sent from the SOAP UI it works fine.
My requirement is : I dont want the client to sent the username and password, instead I want to append that header in my handler and then take care of auth. How can i achieve so ?
Thanks user9170366 :)
I guess this Auth is getting appended in SOAP Header not HTTP Header. Mine is to Append in HTTP header and a BASIC Auth is what I'm using. My Call does not come to Handler itself if the HTTP header with Auth BASIC is not present. I guess WEBLOGIC does a INITIAL check before it reaches the SOAP HANDLER.
