    Zeroview

      Hi,

What are the ZeroViewForAdj and ZeroViewforNonAdj and when do we use them.

What I understood about ZeroViewforNonAdj is we enable it in scenario to make adjustments for journals in approved stage.

pls correct me, if I am wrong and explain me about both in detail.

      Thanks,
      sai

            Hi Sai,

The Zero View Settings has two options in Scenario the ZeroViewforAdj and ZeroViewforNonAdj.

The ZeroViewForNonadj is a setting which applies to the <Entity Currency> Value dimension. The second is the ZeroViewForAdj which applies a setting to the <Entity Curr Adjs> Value dimension member.

Its related to Flow Type of Accounts in HFM which are Expense, Revenue related to Profit and Loss Statement.

Its says about the dataview for the accounts in Periodic and YTD, when the amounts are not loaded in preceding months. Ex:- If we keep the Zero View as YTD and if you load data for Jan 10$, than if you look into the periodic view the amount will be as -10$ and in YTD it will be 0 for the next months which are not still loaded.

And If we keep the Zero View as periodic than if we look into the periodic view the amount will be 0 and in YTD it will be 10$ for the next months which are not still loaded.

Go across the link below, hope you will be clear on the Zero View Settings.
