You need to go for your own html coding with action/navigation links.1 person found this helpful
For ex: I've used 2 columns here in criteria tab
and referring these in Ticker view using @n at Row Format like
@1<a href="http://www.google.com" target=_new>@2</a>
If helps pls mark
Thanks Veeravali, that was helpful
But what if i want the link on the ticker to open an existing BI Report ?
In that case do not use 'target' attribute.1 person found this helpful
I would suggest to do with couple of columns for a start.
If need send me email.
so the 'a href' attribute = the url of the report?? is that right
Many thanks for your input so far
so how will my report know which sales order to display because its not been prompted,
-The ticker is showing top 10 Sales orders (in descending order by value)
- User clicks on first sales order (Ranked 1)
- The report that the link navigates to should only show details for that selected sales order
Hi Hiten,1 person found this helpful
I've used a single column in the Ticker view and on click on the specific value I'm calling another report using action links. This works great.
<a href=https://localhost:9704/analytics/saw.dll?Go&Path=/users/sveerava/Test&Action=Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2=Time.Year&P3=@1 target=_new>@1</a>
Let me know for issues thru email
Hope this helps to close the post :)
