I have created and formatted a ticker report called 'Top New Sales Orders'. This analysis has been placed on a dashboard page 'Sales Orders'
However I have the requirement that the customer/user should have the ability to click on a particular sales order (e.g value) from within the ticker.
By clicking on the value of the sales order I want the user to see further details about that particular sales order (the further details of the sales order can be displayed on the same page or different page)
Please could you help me on how to best achieve this
Thanks for responses and answers in advance
You need to go for your own html coding with action/navigation links.
For ex: I've used 2 columns here in criteria tab
and referring these in Ticker view using @n at Row Format like
@1<a href="http://www.google.com" target=_new>@2</a>
If helps pls mark
Many thanks for your input so far
so how will my report know which sales order to display because its not been prompted,
-The ticker is showing top 10 Sales orders (in descending order by value)
- User clicks on first sales order (Ranked 1)
- The report that the link navigates to should only show details for that selected sales order
I've used a single column in the Ticker view and on click on the specific value I'm calling another report using action links. This works great.

Let me know for issues thru email
Hope this helps to close the post :)
