Customize OBIEE log in page display

    Yala
      Hello

      Do you guys know how I can change the OBIEE log in page?

      Below the log in fields, there is some copyright texts from Oracle, I want to change the copyright text and add more sentences, what would be the best way to do?

      Thank you

          Edit this file from
          OFM\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\web\msgdb\messages\logoncontrolmessages.xml

          If this is not helping then
          \OFM\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\web\msgdb\l_en\messages\utilmessages.xml

          Pls mark as correct else let me know ;)

            Thank you for the update

            Now below the select a language fields and above the copyright text, there shows the name of the product, typically it says: Oracle Business Intelligence 10.1.3.4.1 or 11g, as shown in this link:
            http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbo=d&biw=1440&bih=799&tbm=isch&tbnid=mRfflVb5OLgpwM:&imgrefurl=http://knowledge.ciber.nl/weblog/%3Fp%3D132&docid=v4l2psBWhb6NxM&imgurl=http://knowledge.ciber.nl/weblog/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/image7.png&w=461&h=422&ei=rMeiUKmnLKOWiAK-4IGADA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=4&vpy=192&dur=820&hovh=215&hovw=235&tx=154&ty=121&sig=101769616932335010289&page=1&tbnh=150&tbnw=164&start=0&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0,i:76

            Is there a way to change that as well?

            I am not able to find that text in the two files you provided.

                  Not helpful yet, but I am sure it will be helpful if your answer is based on my question.

                  So see this image?

                  http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbo=d&biw=1440&bih=799&tbm=isch&tbnid=mRfflVb5OLgpwM:&imgrefurl=http://knowledge.ciber.nl/weblog/%3Fp%3D132&docid=v4l2psBWhb6NxM&imgurl=http://knowledge.ciber.nl/weblog/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/image7.png&w=461&h=422&ei=rMeiUKmnLKOWiAK-4IGADA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=4&vpy=192&dur=820&hovh=215&hovw=235&tx=154&ty=121&sig=101769616932335010289&page=1&tbnh=150&tbnw=164&start=0&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0,i:76

                  If you click on the link, an image pops up and do you see a text 'Oracle Business Intelligence 10.1.3.4 ' between 'select a language' and 'Copyright'?

                  If you see, then my question is simply how to change from 'Oracle Business Intelligence 10.1.3.4' to 'Business Intelligence -- 10.1.3.4'?

                  Thanks

                  Your point is waiting for you...

                  Email me at lumpineeman@aol.com in case I don't check back to the forum just to remind me to aware you points after u gave helpful answers..

                  Thanks

                    Look for the 'Footer' in the below file and comment out the entire font tag
                    OracleBI\web\msgdb\messages\logoncontrolmessages.xml
                    FYI:
                    <sawm:param insert="2"/> is for Version
                    <sawm:param insert="8"/> is for Copyright

                    Let me know for issues

                    Looking forward to update your other post

                      Thanks for the reply

                      There are many footers and <sawm:param insert="2"/> in logoncontrolmessage,xml file.

                      There is nowhere that's currently defined the text as 'Oracle Business Intelligence 10.1.3.4'.

                      Any idea on where and how to change that?

                      PS: The other post is updated

                        I was talking about the last part

<sawm:messageRef name="kmsgProductGeneral"/>&nbsp;<sawm:param insert="2"/><br/><br/><sawm:param insert="8"/>

                        The below are ref:
                        kmsgProductGeneral---for--->Oracle Business Intelligence
                        <sawm:param insert="2"/> ----for--->10.1.3.4
                        <sawm:param insert="8"/>-----for---->Copyright

                        Use this or comment out for every thing change it as per need, as shown here

                          Thanks

                          So for this ref:
                          kmsgProductGeneral---for--->Oracle Business Intelligence

                          What if I want to change 'Oracle Business Intelligence' to 'Business Intelligence'?, Do I modify 'kmsgProductGeneral'? Or How should I go about?

                          Thanks

                            Take out this tag
                            <sawm:messageRef name="kmsgProductGeneral"/>
                            and use 'Business Intelligence'

                              Hi,

                              To Change the login text we will need to change 2 files logonmessages.xml and signin.html. Follow below steps to change:

                              1. Add a custom WebMessage to logonmessages.xml under <BI_Installation>/Oracle_BI1/bifoundation/web/msgdb/l_en/messages. This is for language dependent. The example i am giving is for english.

                              <WebMessage name="kmsgSampleMsg1"><TEXT>I am here and invincible. </TEXT></WebMessage>

                              2. Add the below code in the location you wanted to show in signin.html under <BI_Installation>/Oracle_BI1/bifoundation/web/msgdbpages/common

                               code till above line

                              3. In case if you wanted to delete the Copyright text you can delete it.

                              Let me know if this worked for you.

                              Regards,
                              Jay
