Equivalent for PlsqlDocumentPath and PlsqlDocumentProcedure from mod_plsql

We have non-APEX plsql application that we would like to move to APEX Listener. File upload/download was handled using PlsqlDocumentTable, PlsqlDocumentPath and PlsqlDocumentProcedure directives in the dads.conf file for mod_plsql. What are the equivalent APEX Listener 2.0 EA parameters for PlsqlDocumentPath and PlsqlDocumentProcedure. In the absence of these parameters how would I handle file upload/download.

    Hello Sanjeev,

in APEX Listener 1.1, you could use Resource Templates for that purpose. You can do that in APEX Listener 2 EA, too, but the configuration for Resource Templates moved into the APEX schema, so I think you'll have to install APEX to configure them... Or you go back to 1.1 (which is the current production release anyway...)

Can you point me to some documentation or examples. I am not familiar with APEX or APEX listener.

    Hello Sanjeev,

there is a good introduction into the Resource Templates features in the [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21611_01/doc.11/e21058/rest_api.htm#BGBIAEED]APEX Listener Installation and Developer Guide.
Please note that this document is based on APEX Listener 1.1, and the implementation of these features changed with APEX Listener 2 EA (on top of APEX 4.1-patched or 4.2).
Concerning APEX 4.2, I'd recommend the [url http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/documentation/index.html]APEX Documentation Library. If you want to get a quick overview on the up/download-question, you might sneak into [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35125/advnc_blob.htm#BCGGJHEF]the corresponding section of the Application Builder Users Guide.
There are also some good tutorials in the Oracle Learning Library, e.g.
