I guess this is not much question about JDeveloper, but about the Weblogic Server - imagine that you'd develop a piece of code in NetBeans or Eclipse.
Could you be more specific what "JDev 11.1.2.* features" you intend to use?
In general, there are two ways:
- you develop something in IDE1 and IDE2 and deploy it to the same environment
- or you develop something in IDE1 and IDE2, but deploy it to two different environments. WebCenter will, afterwards, try to consume resources from the other environment
WebCenter Portal in every version works with ADF 11g R1 features (based on JSF 1.2).
You can't use ADF 11g R2 (based on JSF 2.0) in WebCenter Portal.
WebCenter domains is not prepared to execute ADF 11g R2 version.
