What about "uncatalog" command
RMAN> crosscheck archivelog all;
RMAN> change archivelog all crosscheck;
When I ran uncatalog command, it gave me error:
RMAN-03002: failure of uncatalog command at 11/20/2012 12:47:21
RMAN-06004: ORACLE error from recovery catalog database: RMAN-20242: specification does not match any archive log in the recovery catalog
Should I be running catalog or unacatlog?

I tried what is in this document, but that did not help because none of these commands every look in that archived log. Only way I can do backup is to to add skip inaccessible in backup archivelog command. Then I get messages like:

skipping inaccessible file D:\EMPOWERARCHIVE1DB\ARC25046_0624985288.001
archived log D:\EMPOWERARCHIVE1DB\ARC25047_0624985288.001 not found or out of sync with catalog
skipping inaccessible file D:\EMPOWERARCHIVE1DB\ARC25047_0624985288.001
archived log D:\EMPOWERARCHIVE1DB\ARC25048_0624985288.001 not found or out of sync with catalog
skipping inaccessible file D:\EMPOWERARCHIVE1DB\ARC25048_0624985288.001
RMAN-06061: WARNING: skipping archivelog compromises recoverability
I dp lmow how yo get rid of above messages,
I am using oracle 10.1 on windows.
did you run crosscheck or not !!
why you don't read the posts do the following command
is it hard on you ?
CROSSCHECK ARCHIVELOG ALL.
