Berkeley DB is the recommended replacement for OLite from Oracle, and we provide a windows .msi file that includes an ADO.NET dll. You can find it on the downloads page:
If you want to use SQLite, you can download it from sqlite.org
Thanks for the reply. Berklay wold be a paid DB and sqlite is the option available for this migration. Because clients already have spent lot on lite.
Will go through the link and post if anything that i need.
Just FYI, there is a license migration available for customers who previously licensed the Oracle Lite Client Database, to enable them to move to Berkeley DB.
Your client may want to look into that. If they are interested, they should contact their Oracle sales rep to learn the details.
Can anyone please let me know if Olite 10.3.0.3.0 supports Java 1.6.38 (and / or ) java 1.7.11 ?
we are trying to upgrade Olite to different software maybe SQLite or Barkley or Moble server etc.
but meanwhile we need to upgrade java for other apps.
An early response would highly be appreciated.
