if u want multi sheet excel output with different columns of data in different sheets u need to use xsl excel template that's the only option

not much resources on how to do this template
you can also try using some conversion utility from http://xlspe.com/news.php but we have to purchase this to use in production environment .
Ok, one last question. Is it possible to use RTF Templates instead and create multiple excel-sheets?
no its not possible as far as i know if you need different columns in different sheets you need to use xsl excel template only .
u can do it using rtf template but it wont be as same as regular excel output and you should be on bi publisher 11g to do that u can do like this
when u preview xslx output using bi publisher rtf template it treats page breaks as new sheet

mostly rtf template method wont work as needed for us as far as i know. using xsl excel template u can get the output as needed.1 person found this helpful
