I am using OBIEE10 server1 Linux Box.Same machine i installed OBIEE11g.
I am trying to migrate 10g into 11g. Ua wizard through error like
when i give weblogic details:
"UPGAST-00014:unable to connect to weblogic server at localhost:7001
t3://localhost:7001: Destination unreachable;nested exception is: java.net.socketException:
Connection reset; No available router to destination"
All the services i can connecting well.
Configure a Network Channel
1.To configure a network channel for localhost, go to the WebLogic Admin console and log in as Administrator.
2.Click on Servers -> Protocols -> Channels.
3.Click on "Configure a new Network Channel,"
4.Configure the network channel as follows. You may change the name of the channel if you would like to.
◦Listen Address: localhost
◦Listen Port: 7001 (same as Admin server host)
Create the network channel.
5.Then, shut down and restart the server.
6.Look in the WebLogic log for a successful ping message that looks like the following:
<Mar 29, 2011 6:14:01 PM EDT> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000355> <Thread "ListenThread.Loopback" listening on port 7001, ip address 127.0.0.1>
Configure WLS 8.1 For Default
NOTE: This is for WLS 8.1 only.
You can also do the following in your test environment to use weblogic.Admin PING utility.
1.In the console, navigate to <server> -> Configuration -> General -> Listen Address.
2.Remove any entry for parameter "Listen Address."
4.Restart the WebLogic instance.
Now you will be able to access the application with all DNS names/IP addresses associated with the machine, and you can also use the loopback address for the weblogic.Admin PING utility. The WebLogic instance will listen on loopback address - either localhost or 127.0.0.1.
When enter those detail then i apply all changes button.
It return error messages
"An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
