I wrote a SQLLDR control script. In that, one column of a table to be populated with timestamp data.
The format of the data that is in data file is like :2010-09-18.104.22.168.972000.
When I run the sqlldr script,It is giving bad records throwing the error
Record 10:Rejected - Error on table TABLE1, column ISSUE_DATE.
ORA-01843:not a valid month.
Can someone help me with this issue...
Do I need to change my script to convert month number to 3 character name:eg 09 to SEP ??
Pl post exact OS and database versions, along with your control file and sample data file. What format description has been used for this field ?
Thanks for your reply.
I could figure out the issue,by coding ISSUE_DATE column in the control file as below. We ignored the fractional(milliseconds) part of time as it is giving some issue.
ISSUE_DATE POSITION(530:548) date "yyyy-mm-dd-hh24.mi.ss"
