You could resize the virtual disk, create a new pv on that drive and add that to the lv to increase the size of the lv and thus the size of the volume inside the guest.
how can you resize the virtual disk in OVM 2.2.2? there doesnt seem to be a place to do so.
It may be that you need to do that in the storage section in OVM 2.2 - I have updated to 3.x as soon as it was released. If you are not able to expand the virtual disk itself, you can also create a new virtual disk and create a LVM pv on that one and add it to the LV of the system volume.
