hi all,

I am really happy finding the new feature of the Script Editor I can now develop within my Data modeler space without using an external tool, I was waiting for it for a long time.
The first thing I noticed is that the Debuger; it wont recognise the importPackage() line what so ever.

Many thanks
Adel

    Hi Adel,

    unfortunately we weren't able to get importPackage() running in debugger. You can use alternate syntax with Packages.fullClassName as in following example:
        aa = new java.lang.String("test");
        log_rep = new Packages.oracle.dbtools.crest.swingui.LogReport(model.getAppView());
        my_log = "line1\nline2\n...\n\lineN";
        log_rep.setLog(my_log);
        log_rep.setName("test log window");
    //    log_rep.showDialog();
        log_rep.showModalDialog(new java.awt.Dimension(750, 550));
        mybutton = new Packages.javax.swing.JButton("test");
        myframe = new Packages.javax.swing.JFrame("test");
        myframe.setVisible(true);
    No need to use prefix with classes in java package.
