If a Java application is developed in OpenJDK1.7I told you you can't develop something in OpenJDK. You develop for Java version 7. To run the application, you need a runtime of equal version, there's no difference whether it's openjdk or the oracle one.

If a Java application is developed in OpenJDK1.7, I don't mind what JRE is in server side. Whil at client side, can I run the applet or Web start in OracleJRE1.7, instead of OpenJDK-JRE1.7?
