    how to debug forms in 10g remotely

      hi,

      i have created instance on 'X' machine . but i want to debug form on my machine 'Y'.
      i have a fmb file that i have compile and created fmx file.

      but how to debug form on my machine

          Because you didn't mention exactly which Forms version you are using or exactly what you mean by "debug" it will be difficult to answer your question directly. Starting in Forms 9.x, attaching to a remotely running Forms process is possible with some restrictions. For example, the remote debugger will require a specific port be accessible. The exact port number will vary, so it is not possible to know in advance what that port number will be. Also, from the remote location you will not see the GUI which is running on the end-user's machine. You will only see the debugger tool and the information about the form internally (variables and their values, place in the code, etc).

          Information about how to use the Debugger can be found in the Forms Builder Online Help. Additional troubleshooting information can be found in the Forms Deployment Guide. Again, because you did not mention the exact version you are using, I will assume you are using 10.1.2.x (10gR2). The Forms Deployment Guide for 10.1.2 can be found here:
