Playing around with the job edit function and getting mixed results
Connect to a database with my own credentials, as a DBA.
In the navigation pane, expand 'Scheduler'
select a job, right-click, select 'edit'. Sometimes it opens the "Edit Job" dialog. Sometimes not. When "not", there are no messages, just sits there like I did nothing.
Thought perhaps it was tied to ownership of the job, so I reconnected as the owner of the job in question. Still no joy.
As bizarre is it seems, it appears the only jobs I can edit are the ones owned by my own account, regardless of who I am actually connected as.
