i am using jdeveloper 10.1.3.2 and my requirment is to log user sessions(log in ,log out) into a table,
since I am using security provider that authenticates users through stored procedures there is no problems on log in.
but when loggin out as using sessionListener so that it logs when a session is being destroyed.
my problem is that when users log out of the system I can access the binding container so i can use view object to insert the records, but when a session times out I cannot access the binding container.
1)I don't want to open a direct jdbc connection to database.
2)I don't want to get jdbc connection from a container defined datasource.
since it was required that all connection are managed by the adf framework.
so is there any way to get this to work?
Thanks for the hint, but I am worried since I have a large number of users(about 4000) and they will logout about the same time .so there might be a sudden increase in the number of Application module thus an increase in the number of jdbc connection, won't that be a problem?
