no, I are not planing to use AP.
For the moment I have the following procedure in place:
1: ODC scans are place on an output directory "ODC-output".
2: I launch Oracle Forms Recognition Designer and manually read the "ODC-output" and process the images.
So, what I want is to make the second step fully automatic, I want OFR to automatically check the "ODC-output" for new entries and start processing.
you need to create a new RTS instance, if you look in the AP Guide, there is a step by step procedure of how this can be done. the process can be configured to perform the input, ocr, classification, extraction, validation, and export
when OFR is installed, it creates a windows service called oracle forms recognition runtime manager, make sure that is running, from the rts instance, there is an option at the bottom 'start automatically' ensure that is checked and your rts instance will start when the service starts
Sometimes this happens...
I have not found a solution for this but try deleting the machine and RTS instance recreate them.
restart the machine and it should start working.
I believe you have verified all the steps mentioned in the blog.
Yes RTS works on batches. These batches are exported by ODC.
in the current configuration it is configured in the same way. you have to make sure in ODC, Invoice-OFR commit profile folder, is the same as that of OFR import folder.
Make sure ODC is exporting the file in that folder.
I believe you have imported ZIP file in ODC provided with solution accelerator.
The OFR scan profile has the macro which commits the file once you open and close the image.
This way ODC should create files in export location of ODC.
