I am trying to load a CSV file using oracle apex data load option. The options are using a new table and file upload(.csv). In the load data page, the schema name is not listing my current schema because of which i could not to upload the CSV file.
Can anyone please help on this ?
Did you export this application from another workspace perhaps? I have seen in the past that if you create a data load page based on schema A and then import that application and set it to parse as schema B, it will not work.
The solution - although unsupported - is to simply alter the parse-as schema reference in the APEX export file. A more supported version would be to re-create the data load pages in the target application, so that it picks up on the proper parse-as schema.
Thanks for your reply.
I did not export the application from any other schema. What I want to do is export a .CSV file into a table. I want the table to be created during the file upload itself. But in the load page the schema name is not available (blank list ) is showing without which i could not load the data into the table.
I already tried in apex.oracle.com and it is working fine. But not working in my client application which in 4.1.1 version.
I want to know if I can create it or not using the wizard or I need to do any other settings.
I have privileges to create table in that schema.
I now loaded the data using sql developer. But would like to know if this can be achieved.
I checked in another application which was using apex 4.0 which has lot of schema but showing only one schema in data load wizard page. so please share your thoughts on this
If it works on apex.oracle.com (4.2) and not in your instance (4.1.1), my suspicion is that it is a bug that was resolved in APEX 4.2. Aside from upgrading your version to APEX 4.2, I'm not sure that there's really a viable alternative.
