Thanks Kashif, Hussein for your reply. I tried compiling by utlrp.sql as well as adadmin but its not working for many objects:
ERRORS DURING RECOMPILATION
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
ORA-01552: cannot use system rollback segment for non-system tablespace
ORA-01403: no data found
Invoking Ultra Search Install/Upgrade validation procedure VALIDATE_WK
Ultra Search VALIDATE_WK done with no error
Actually this is a fresh instance into which full db import has been done. (we lost the original db's redo logs and had to open it with allowresetlogs_corruption to salvage the data)
VinodNagpure wrote:If the source instance is lost you cannot follow the export/import doc referenced above.
No, we have not followed this note for exp/imp. Just did a full export and now trying to import the same....
VinodNagpure wrote:Yes you can but why you need to export/import? If the issue with the source instance then do not expect the import/import to fix the issue with the invalid objects.
Sorry I didn't understand what you mean by lost. I have opened the source instance with allowresetlogs_corruption. In this case, can we follow the document 741818.1 ?
VinodNagpure wrote:So why do you want to migrate using export/import? Are you trying to change the OS or something? Could you please elaborate more on what you are trying to achieve?
I have checked in the source instance. There all the objects are in valid state. And we don't have any backup, so export/import is the only alternative.
