AIA is an offering on top of FMW, it is not targeted for any other stack. Theoretically you could leverage parts like the canonical schemas on any stack since they follow industry standards, but the real value of AIA (FP) only visualizes by running it on FMW since there are certain dependencies. As an example, the AIA error handling framework is an add-on only working on top of FMW / SOA Suite you would not be able to use it on any other stack.
This is realy helpful info.
one more Q. "Theoretically you could leverage parts like the canonical schemas on any stack since they follow industry standards"
my understanding from above line is : you can extract/use canonical schemas with other stack but as a whole on different MW will not work :
correct me if i am wrong.
Not sure what you mean by 'as a whole'. AIA as a whole? If so, yes, AIA as a whole is not designed to run on any other middleware stack.1 person found this helpful
