I'm using three different GIFs to show the progress of my program.
The first is an preloading gif, the second one is visible till process finished, and the last one to restore the first state.
The GIFs are loaded into an ImageView, the delay for the next image is controlled by a timeline.
My Problem is that the GIF is not always playing at the same speed. Sometimes the gif plays faster and so there is an gap to the next animated GIF.
Any ideas why this is happening?
Should i use another Component to load the GIF or is there a possibility to control how fast the animation is playing?

Can you link a progress indicator to go for the duration of the gif animation? I asked a question previously about how to go about knowing when an animation ends(besides knowing the exact time/setting up a timertask or sceduled runner).
