i am playing with a tabular form where I want some row's columns to be editable and other row's columns to be display only. Is there a way to condition whether columns are editable by row?
Type APR MAY JUN JUL AUG ...
Actual shipped (display only quantities)
Scheduled (display only quantities)
Unscheduled (display only quantities
Forecast (editable quantities)
add the following text ' readonly="readonly" ' to your query as a column with an alias readonly_style for the rows that have columns that should be read only.
Don't display the field readonly_style in the tabular form by unchecking the show option.
Then in the fields you want to make readonly put this in the Element Attributes #readonly_style# which expands to readonly="readonly" at runtime.
Thanks for the reply. It still looks like the columns are editable, as I can key in a number in the QTY field even though it is readonly="readonly". Or does it just not update in the background when Submit is clicked?
