hi all ,
i've two blocks "patients and inserted_patients" , the first for inserting patients data , and the second for showing data for patients in this day (sysdate) , so i changed the where clause of the "inserted_patients" table to
trunc(test_date) = trunc(sysdate)
2-when button pressed "insert" > insert the data in the first block"patients" , then go to the second block "inserted_patients" and
and this what i want to know if i am doing it the right way or not ? because every click on the button "insert" performs the query . every click do this , does this affect the performance , do i choose the wrong way to do this ? , is there another way ?
why not use AQ? to synchronize your block in every insert, delete, update new record by the used of events...
used your button for saving and let the AQ raise the events on trigger then catch the events on your forms to refresh new data display.
1- i do not know about it , if you could tell me what is it ?
2- i think what you said is "about refreshing the data" , and that means that i will do the query every time the button pressed " i mean , it is the same situation here" ?
Why do you have a second block?
i built the second block , as a way to ensure inserting the record to the user .
