apex.excel2collection listener log

Hi,

I know this question can be crossed with other sub forums about apex and beyond that. But i think the best way to find resolution is to as where roots of functionality are - so here it is.

I'm using apex.excel2collection functionality in listener 1.1.4.195.00.12. It works with Glassfish 3.1.2. It works fine but every data load using apex.excel2collection generates huge log output in glassfish domain log.

How to / where set logging level to disable this messages ?

    Hi,
    I'm using apex.excel2collection functionality in listener 1.1.4.195.00.12.
The implementation of this feature has been started in the EA-phase for APEX Listener 1, but hadn't been finished for production release. That's why it's neither supported nor (officially) documented for APEX Listener 1.1.
That said, I can confirm that this is the regular behaviour of that feature. I don't know any option to disable that (debug) output (logged as info).

    Thanks Udo,

According to my knowledge and your response I can do two thinks (of course I would not call them full solutions):

    1. Use
    asadmin rotate-log
to remove old huge amount of logs generated.
    2. Set log level of
    javax.enterprise.system.std.com.sun.enterprise.server.logging to WARNING
in glassfish - that I believe is better solution from 1.

Or anyone knows better way ?

Unfortunately not. Depending on other requirements, you might loose information by disabling all "INFO" output from your log. If you have monitors on INFO-bits, you may also find it in listenerStatus (and have to build a html adaptor to parse it...).
