ORA-00603: ORACLE server session terminated by fatal error
I need help please
consider looking alert_SID.log file for additional clues
[oracle@localhost ~]$ oerr ora 603 00603, 00000, "ORACLE server session terminated by fatal error" // *Cause: An ORACLE server session was in an unrecoverable state. // *Action: Login to ORACLE again so a new server session will be created
when did Oracle last start without error?
What changed since then?
Alert log should be the thing to have a look first, this should contain some error message about this.
Your password file might have been corrupted and you may need to create a new one as I have experience of having this problem because of bad password file. See alert log file to find out the clue.
