Please attach a copy of the user error log:

          a) Choose Tools > Clear Error Log
          b) Re-run the import to reproduce the error
          c) Choose Tools > View Error Log

          Attach the log.

Is the delimiter in the file the same as defined against the import group?

As it seems to fail on the first record does the number of fields in the record match the number of fields in the import format? (assuming it is delimited file.) As requested earlier, a the full detail of the error might be helpful.

We need to see the user error log as well, all that was attached was the import log.
