What is 'Contracted revenue'? Funded amounted? But maybe you mean budgeted amount?
It means the contract which we got for a project. I think it is budgeted amount.
could you give more details about what you need in this situation?
This way we can give you the right answer.
Hi, Thanks for your response, Actually I am working on a project where in we need to do Revenue shaping as we forcast that there will be a revenue shortfall qtr3 when we are in qtr1
so for that some stattistics have given in a excel sheet, where in it has mentioned two things one is Projected Revenue and second one is Contracted Revenue.
So I am not sure if where we can incorporate the 'Contracted Revenue' thing in Primavera ? I am new in to that and based on the excel sheet information we need to build the project further in PrimaverP6 and generate the reports/graphs which can show how we can shape the revenue.
Thank you so much for your help!
Hi,1 person found this helpful
Contracted Revenue is nothing but the total budgeted sales/amount. Now, this is mapped into Primavera 6 through mainly 3 categories (labor, non-labor and material). You can also introduce one more cost account under the expenses column.
Once these things are mapped into P6 WBS/Activity wise, you can view the same through the resource usage/activity usage profile graphs. Here you will also find projected revenues/amount as per desired requirement (monthly/quarterly etc). By this way you can forecast to the client regarding projected revenues, gross margins, anticipated profits etc.
Thanks Prasanna, This helps !
