Any information for me regarding the intermediate levels.
Did you check out the security sections of the Admin guide? Essentially all of the objects in FDM have a security level set and you, as an admin, can adjust those up/down depending on what you want people to be able to see/do. Do a search for security on the below link and see if that helps.
Thanks for your update, but am not able to find what all the roles a user can perform if he is assigned with intermediate levels 2-9.
As per my search a user can submit the data when he is given a security level of intermediate 5 and can edit the mappings when he is given intermediate 3.
In the same sence can we find the infromation how the other intermediate levels do act?
You will want to review Object Security in FDM, as this can be set up custom. Within Object Security you assign an intermediate level for a role, so for Mapping - Update Grid you may have Intermediate 3 selected within your application.1 person found this helpful
The beauty (or lack of it if , from eachs POV) is that one is left to design the roles for each such role.
You can chose that Intermediate 2 can only update maps, Intermediate 3 can only do a import-validate-export process, Intermediate 4 can only access reports and so on.
This set up is done in the object maintenance.
After you do this, these roles are assigned to users in HSS and when you add them to the user maintenance in FDM.
This way FDM gives you upto 9 differerent role combinations for grouping users.
Hope this helps
Thank you all for information...gd day
