Greetings, I need assistance. I am working on spreadsheets that were originally created from an earlier version of SmartView and, reconnecting the spreadsheets to a new application (same dimensions) using SmartView 188.8.131.52.103 (Build 100). In refreshing the POV comes in the first row of the worksheet and pushes the subsequent rows down. This causes issues with formatting and cell formulas. Any thoughts on how to keep the POV separate and not, adding the additional row? Would be in a SmartView verion or option setting. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Hello and, thank you for the response. I inserted the row and, attempted to refresh but, SmartView still added an additional row. I am hoping to find a resolution, I have used SmartView version 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11 and same result. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks again.
Thanks for the response, I added the row and the member names to the first row and, when I refreshed, SmartView still inserted a row with the member name. Its like SmartView ignored the row I entered with the inserted members.
Can you try to save the file in the new format? Deleting the extra row inserted first. Then open to see if it's still inserting a row in the file.
Assuming it works, if you have more files to convert, you can write an easy VB script to open files and delete the first row.
