    web.show_document help????

      Hi All,

      WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ('javascript:window.open("'||url||'","","location=no,fullscreen=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,status=no,top=0,left=0,resizable=yes");self.close()','_blank');

      using above built in can able to hide tool bar,menu bar and status bar but not address bar.

      I use Internet Explorer 8 and Forms 11g.

      Please Can any one help me in this.

          Not really a Forms or Web.Show_document query, more to do with Browsers and JavaScript.
          window.open method cannot hide the address bar.
          Modal windows are without address bar. See if they help in your case, http://help.dottoro.com/ljdlgxbu.php

            Thanks for the response.

            Is there any other way to achieve my requirement i.e., hide the url.

            Usage of showmodaldialog method cannot be allowed in my application because users cannot switch to another unless they close the modal window.

            In my case it is not accepted by our users.
