C:\>SQLPLUS /@%ORACLE_SID% as sysdba
when I gave the below command in .cmd
Please set the ORACLE_SID
e.g set ORACLE_SID=ORCL
Here ORCL is your SID
You can found the SID from services.msc in windows
On Windows the ORACLE_HOME may also be stored in the registry:
database 11g is case sensitive , make sure you print your password correctly .
I have newly set up my Oracle 11g Database under 'administrator' account in new Windows2008 Server.
From my oracle batch jobs I am trying to connect DB as shown: SQLPLUS /@%DBName%
as this line it is throwing logon denied - error message.
My Old DB is 8i and Server is WindowsNT ,user account ='zadministrator'.
Why was it throwing error?
