Did you have agent/bin folder under the oracledi folder?
My folder like this:
No I don't have even agent/bin folders
You should reinstall odi again Odi with choosing "Standalone Agent" to see \agent\bin folder.Then you will see agent\bin folder1 person found this helpful
Maybe it can be another solution to solve this problem.But I don't know others.
Please follow the below steps to run the scenario from the command line:
First of all you need to go to the path -> orahome_1/oracledi/agent/bin
You need not exactly have orahome_1 in your system because it depends on your installation, however oracledi/bin would be available.
Also, your installation should have the standalone agent installed as well. This is step-2
Change the repository connection information in the odiparams.bat file (if it is windows) This is step-3
Go to the path orahome_1/oracledi/agent/bin This is step-4
After the above step, give the following syntax --> startscen.bat <scenario_name> <scenario_version> <context_code> "<variable>=<value>" This is the final step
In ODIparams.bat file where i need to change the information exactly .
How to encode the password.
I need to change in following all the variables
Please explian the what values i need to replace in the all the above variables.
You need to edit these 4 lines :
You can encode your password by using the command line. Go to the bin folder of your agent and use the encode command :
set ODI_MASTER_DRIVER=xxxxxxxxxx set ODI_MASTER_URL=xxxxxxxxxx set ODI_MASTER_USER=xxxxxxxxxx set ODI_MASTER_ENCODED_PASS=xxxxxxxxxx
Hope it helps.
I am getting the below error
StartScen <scen_name> <scen_version> <context_code> [<log_level>] ["-SES
SION_NAME=<session_name>"] ["-KEYWORDS=<keywords>"] ["-AGENT_URL=<agent_url>"] [
"-ASYNC=<Yes|No>"] ["-NAME=<agent_name>"] ["<variable>=<value>"]
Where: -ASYNC is applicable only if -AGENT_URL is specif
Could you paste the exact command you executed?
If you included "-ASYNC=Yes", then remove it.
If you didn't, try to add "-ASYNC=No".
I am using the below command
StartScen -SCEN_NAME=LOAD_USER_DIMENSION -SCEN_VERSION=001 -CONTEXT=GLOBAL
and tell us the output ...
StartScen -SCEN_NAME=LOAD_USER_DIMENSION -SCEN_VERSION=001 -CONTEXT=GLOBAL "-ASYNC=No"
Same error like above.
Maybe try to add "-NAME=<agent_name>"
I don't have created agent so what i need to give in agent name field
