The only thing that gets recorded in the dumpfile is the database schema that ran the export. It does not record the OS user that ran the expdp or impdp command.1 person found this helpful
The OS user who executed the export command should also be the owner of the export dump file,
unless .... it no longer is the original file and was copied by some other user.
Yes the file was just copied. So is their an auditing option on for example someone had done an export or an import. Is their a way we can check the history of expdp/impdp in a database.
You don't specify whether this is a data pump export or a conventional export. If data pump then the file is created at the OS level by the server process and hence the owner of the file will always the software owner (i.e. "oracle").
Best way to track it would be through auditing. Regular auditing will show you who's accessing the objects. And you can correlate back to the OS user from auditing the CREATE SESSION event.
