I'm new oracle administration and just started taking on the job. Sorry if similar thread have been posted. Kindly redirect me to the similar posts if there already are.
I'm currently administering oracle 9i and notice frequent database crashes generating core dump. In appears that there isn't enough memory to handle the queries, and sometimes connection pool limit also occurs.
Can I ask for help on how to check if the memory in my database are optimized, and how to increase the memory to the optimized value?
Let me know what information you need and the queries you need me to run to get the information.
Thanks in advance
