Forgot Password functionality is OOTB.1 person found this helpful
You can configure Forgot Password Question Answers. Go to System Configuration (Advance Console) and search for different properties associated with Challenge Questions Answers.
You can also add new Challenge Questions as well by adding into Lookup.WebClient.Questions

When an end user gives the url, http:/hostname:14000/oim, they will be able to see forgot password link. Correct? Then why are you trying to provide that link again?
Are you trying to access OIM from some other application developed using ADF?

Say i have a user with user id user1, now if he want to use forgot\rest password how can i implement this...

If that is the case, you need customize your portal to have that URL and when an end user clicks that link using oim unauthenticated service you need get the details.
from the post looks like you want to integrate OAM and OIM. As part of integration the forgot password link will come on the same page where OAM requested for credentials. If you have developed the custom authn page then you need to create an additional link for this functionality1 person found this helpful
