Hi,1 person found this helpful
look at the disk space first. if there is enought dist space then try to create new temp tablespace or add a temp file to exsiting temp tablespace.
Remember all this can be created by Only the user who have DBA privileges.
to create temp tablespace
to add temp file
CREATE temporary TABLESPACE DT_TEMP tempfile 'path/filename.dbf' SIZE 320M
Size can be specify according to requirement.
ALTER TABLESPACE lmtemp ADD TEMPFILE 'path/filename.dbf' SIZE 18M AUTOEXTEND ON;

Check the current temp size from :
sql>select file_name,tablespace_name,bytes/(1024*1024*1024) from dba_temp_filesIf size is higher than expected, then you can try shrink the temp file space and can do the transaction again.
To Shrink temp tablesapce, fire following:
sql>alter tablespace temp shrink spacecheck again the size. If tablespace shrinked enough to carry out your transaction, then proceed.
If still get the same error, you can create additional temp tablespace file and add them to existing temp tablespace.

There are some notes on how to [url http://www.ora00600.com/scripts/databasemonitoring/temp.html]monitor TEMP space usage here, too, if you want to check how much is being used.
