- 32-bit Oracle Server software on 64-bit Linux is not supported
- 11.2 and higher versions of 32-bit Oracle Client are the only versions supported on 64-bit Linux
It looks like you have version 10.2 of the software installed (though I don't know if it is client or server).
I have a vague memory that you can take the 32 bit .so files and put them somewheres for the executable to find. Maybe some googling will find more info about that, and perhaps you can check one of yours that worked for such things, maybe instant client installation has something to do with it.
Then again, all those MOS notes that say "this is not supported and won't run" actually mean something.
