Hijrah calender in R12

Hi,

Db version: 11.1.0.7

Application : R12.1.1

I was refering to the note

Hijrah and Thai Calendar Support in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1 [ID 807393.1]

Which will enable the hijrah calendar. It is ok fine.

But when i set those profile options like below

FND: Forms User Calendar = "English Hijrah"

it will show "English Hijrah" as the default calendar. and when i click on the expansion button it shows the gregorian calendar.

But my main requirement is that the users should be able to see Gregorian as the default calender and at the same time they should be able to see the expansion button to see the Hijrah calendar on the right side.

Is that possible, please let me know.

Thanks

According to the above settings, the users should see the English Hijrah calendar and if they place the mouse cursor over a date cell, the tool tip will show the corresponding Gregorian date.

If you want to see the opposite, then set "FND: Forms User Calendar" to "Gregorian" and "FND: Tooltip Calendar" to "English Hijrah" and check then.

    Thanks,

    Mr. Hussein Sawwan,

many thanks for your interest in answering.

Yes tool tip helps, but the client wants to enter from back date, If they want to enter previous date (like 7 months and 5 days in the past).

But this is needed only for some forms. and all other operations are performed in gregorian calendar.

These can not be set at responsibility level eigther.

At what level did you set those profile options?

    Thanks,
