The best way (I had problems with this last week), is to go Oracle Support (do not use the upgrade patch from OTN), and download patch #14732511 from Oracle Support. This will automatically upgrade and migrate your Apex applications to the current 4.2.1.00.8. It should take around 15-30 minutes, depending on your hardware. The one I tried using from OTN wouldn't run, and the supposed upgrade would finish in about 15 seconds.1 person found this helpful
Thanks for your help wbfergus-1. It's my bad I didn't explained fully. I have to migrate all my current applications from 1 server [10G] to another server[11G] . I was looking some kind of export all application from my old APEX on 10G and import into new apex on 11G instead of exporting each application. I appreciated your help.
Okay, to move applications between machines, the easiest way is documented here: [backing-up-your-applications|http://jes.blogs.shellprompt.net/2006/12/12/backing-up-your-applications/]1 person found this helpful
It's a little old, but I think the steps are still the same.
Hope this helps,
Thanks a lot Bill I will investigate this option.
