Did you try my suggestion of putting the password in quotes when you reply to the emca prompts?

OK - some progress made - I'm looking now in D:\app\cfgtoollogs\emca and all the missing log files are there. (instead in the <sid> directory). anyway -So you are fighting a similar battle to mine!
Pl post exact OS details. What is the environment variable ORACLE_SID set to ? Where is the "orcl" database located - is it on the same machine and ORACLE_HOME as the server you are logged in to ? Pl post the output of the "set" command just before invoking the commands you have used.
