I have a server pool consisting of two servers. I have installed a third server (identical hardware). I have updated it and added its storage initiator to the scsi storage Access Group. It's using the same password for the OVS agent as the other two servers. I've also rebooted it after every change. But when I try to add it to the server pool I get this error:
com.oracle.odof.exception.ObjectException: Caught during invoke method: com.oracle.ovm.mgr.api.exception.RuleException: OVMRU_000020E Cannot add server: xxxx.xxxxx.com, its user name, port, and password must be the same as the other servers in pool: ServerPool01
I did a Google search looking for answers but that's been no help so far. Any ideas?
I stand corrected. The server pool password was not what I thought it was. After a number of attempts I figured it out. I guess I had entered it originally with one typo.
Now I'm getting a completely different error related to the storage LUN that's preventing the server from joining the pool, but I think I'll take that one up with Oracle Support.
