Did you tried to escape?
Yes I tried that already (sorry for not mention it above), and did not worked still things that , is the separator so \ is part of the second element in your example

If it is not working, may be for workaround, you can add special character so that you can parse in the class replacing @ character with a comma (,). For ex:
beauty@ room & tech
That is what I did I change the type to be a String instead of a list and with a | delimiter, but I was thinking that ATG must have a workaround better that this.
The solution was a workaround to the escape of char [,]
